Friends of Alan,

Apologies for the delay in getting this information out to you, but we can now confirm the date and time of Alan Cleverly’s funeral.

Jane and Family warmly welcome all to join them to celebrate Alan’s life at Guildford Cathedral on Thursday 31^st March at 12.30pm. After the service Alan will be cremated. This will be for family only and the family asks that you kindly respect their privacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully received in memory of Alan to help support two charities close to his heart. Cancer Research UK and The Lisa May Foundation (LMF).

The Foundation was set up by one of Alan’s close friends, John May following the tragic death of his daughter in the 2004 Tsunami.

Alan was a trustee for LMF which raises money for three small local charities in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire and from time to time they also reach across the globe when disaster relief aid is needed.
Both of these would be a fitting tribute to Alan and his great courage. The total raised will be split equally between Cancer Research UK and The Lisa May Foundation charities.
