The Lisa May Foundation supports selected local charities in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, at the same time raising funds for victims of natural disaster across the world. The charity was founded after Surrey Heath Councillor John May lost his daughter Lisa to the tsunami that devastated Thailand on Boxing Day 2004. On Sunday 28th April Jo Sharp and Nadine Ellis organised a Pub Quiz at the Thatched Cottage in Farnborough.
The night was a massive success, 25 teams took part and a fabulous £276 was raised!
The two staff members from Sainsbury’s Farnborough did it to boost the funds the team of ten skydivers.
The pub was buzzing and on top of the quiz entry there was a raffle which boosted the takings.
The skydive is happening on May 19th.
