The Lisa May Foundation supports selected local charities in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, at the same time raising funds for victims of natural disaster across the world. The charity was founded after Surrey Heath Councillor John May lost his daughter Lisa to the tsunami that devastated Thailand on Boxing Day 2004. On a cold blustery day in Bagshot, we braved the winds to receive our share of the funds from her mayoral year. We will be inviting Cllr white along to meet some of our charities and present funds to them in the future.
