It was a very pleasant surprise to get an email from Camberley Glass & Windows, who wanted to mark their 50^th year in Camberley by doing something for their customers, staff and local community. What better way than having a Fun Day at their new showroom with all profits going to their chosen charity.

Visitors got the chance to browse the new showroom, the aroma of the barbecue ensured they stayed for a bite to eat and the ice cool drinks flowed as they raised a glass to their 50^th year in Camberley.

The staff had thought of everything, a raffle for the guests with the first prize of a Composite Door of course! £100 of M&S vouchers and a bottle of Bubbly were up for grabs. A Bouncy Castle, Balloons, Tattoos and Face Painting ensured there was something for everyone.

It was a superb day with the sun shining down to ensure the showroom glistened and the drinks flowed, which helped the raffle to achieve £200 for LMF.

Fundraising Manager Cheryl D’Cruz said ‘’It’s so nice to get an email out of the blue from a local business that wants to help us raise awareness for the Foundation, Sam Boorman made a superb face painter and was kept busy all day with children and adults joining the queue for a makeover! Thanks to Rob Predgen for choosing LMF, we look forward to other events with the team at Camberley Glass & Windows they were so welcoming.”
