Volunteer

Do you want to make a real difference?

Become a volunteer…

Volunteers are essential to the Lisa May Foundation. By becoming a volunteer you can make a real difference to the lives of people in our local community who need our support the most. The four we charities support provide invaluable services to a wide range of people and age groups, from children with learning and social difficulties, young adults with multiple disabilities, prostate cancer sufferers and heart attack victims. So by helping us you are reaching out to numerous deserving causes.

Anyone can volunteer!

Whatever your age, skills or background, you can help. Whether you are a student who has time to spare during the holidays, whether you would like to be ‘on call’ so we can ring you if we need help from time to time with special events, or whether you would like to volunteer on a regular basis, even if only for an hour or two per week, we need you.

There are many ways in which volunteers can help, including…

  • Fun days/events in the community
  • Organised collection days at various locations
  • Admin/clerical/telephone/IT work in our Bagshot office.

Being a volunteer has so many rewards; you not only become an important part of your local community, you gain valuable experience for your CV, meet new people, and see how the time you have given helps those who need it and you will know you have made a difference.
