The Mayor’s Christmas Party which took place on Friday 22nd November was a cracker of a success and raised fabulous £1800!The grand total was made possible by everyone that attended and the sponsors Vehicle Lease Management, Barrett & Co Bagshot, Oysters of Lightwater and the Camberley Theatre. So a big shout out of gratitude goes out to them all.

We also want to thank Pine Ridge Golf Club for their assistance in particular Sarah, Nicky and Paul, Dave Ricards from Tonic Events for being our wonderful DJ and Rolf Evans for being the event’s photographer. The thank you’s don’t stop there as we must mention Trudy, Naomi and Russell from the Surrey Young Carers for being wonderful elves and running the lucky dip, Terri Jayne School of Dance for entertaining us with their top talent of both singing and dancing and leading up to the event, Becki Lee for volunteering her time and helping us bring everything together.

Lastly and very importantly the Mayor Cllr. Beverley Harding for her continued support and for choosing LMF as her chosen charity.

The idea behind this event was to bring the whole community together and I think all the involvement of those listed above proves this did and can happen and when it does what positive results it has!
