During the summer we ran a balloon race from Sainsbury’s Farnborough in which a lot of their customers took part.

A few balloons were found by people far and wide but the winner was Chloe Evans from Aldershot. Chloe aged 7 released her balloon into the air at an event back in August and it travelled a whopping 165 miles from Farnborough all the way to Saddlesworth, Greater Manchester.

Chloe came down to the store on Monday 29^th October to collect her prize which was dinner for four at Mimosa, Farnborough who kindly sponsored the event and a voucher for Sainsbury’s to go on a shopping spree.

The balloon race raised a couple of hundred pounds and will be added to the Foundation’s pot.
