Local dentist, Kapil Rijal from Lightwater who practices in Hampshire and Berkshire, is making a long journey along with 35 other medical professionals and 5 administration staff to Gumtha, Mugu. The destination is an isolated area of Nepal situated at an altitude of 2,990 metres with no road links and to be reached is a 4 day trek. The team have volunteered to treat in excess of 10,000 patients from Gumtha and the 24 surrounding villages, all free of charge.

Kapil is hoping that his family, friends, colleagues, patients and neighbours might just Pay It Forward in return by sponsoring him to raise money to benefit others.

He has kindly chosen LMF as his charity to receive all the money raised.
