Community Matters is a scheme that John Lewis Partnership set up to encourage Waitrose and John Lewis shops to forge close links with local schools, charities and community groups.

This unique scheme gives each branch £1,000 to share out between three local good causes each month such as welfare organisations, community groups, schools or local divisions of national charities.

In the month of September we are very pleased to announce that we will be featured in Waitrose, Frimley. There will be three containers, one each for The Prostate Project, Parity and Kennel Lane School.

If you shop in that store in that month you will be given a green token to place in the box of your choice and then the £1000 will be split proportionally depending on the amount of tokens each charity gets.
