The Lisa May Foundation supports selected local charities in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, at the same time raising funds for victims of natural disaster across the world. The charity was founded after Surrey Heath Councillor John May lost his daughter Lisa to the tsunami that devastated Thailand on Boxing Day 2004. At Sainsbury’s, Watchmoor Park they held a Halloween themed day. There was face painting, balloons, Tombola and LMF were selling an array of items including their Christmas cards, charity wristbands and ribbons. Also La-Di-Da cupckes donated some spook-tacular cakes and for everyone sold 100% of the takings came to us. Fantastic effort all round and we raised a fantastic £400.
