Mothers Day Celebration.
NewsSainsbury’s customers and staff once again showed their support to our foundation by coming out in force to help us celebrate Mother’s Day and St Patrick’s Day.
Staff volunteeres provided massages and face painting and Rachel Sizmur daugter of the store’s Till Manager donated her services by painting nails. Rachel is a trained beauty therapist and reguarly helps out the foundation. Both mums and children were all given some superb treats.
La-Di-Da Cupcakes came along and managed to sell out all of their lovely cakes by 3pm! Jess is a new start up business and donates a % of all cakes sold to the foundation.
Harry Rouse, who most will recognise from working on the kiosk, did us proud once more by coming dressed as a Leprechaun and boosted sales of raffle tickets.
The instant tombola which was made up from gifts donated by customers went down a storm and we barely kept up with demand!
At the end of the day we drew the raffle and called the lucky winners to collect their gifts in time for Mother’s Day.
An amazing £454 was raised and another fun day came to an end.
