Liz gave up her lunchtime to help us out.

Valentine’s was celebrated in style thanks to the help of Jess @ La-Di-Da Cupcake Co. and our friends and supporters at Sainsbury’s Farnborough. This year we decided the best way to achieve success was to feed and spoil everyone.

We sold delicious cupcakes which were decorated and donated by Jess and a large percentage of profits came to us and we nearly sold out before lunch! We only started selling at 11.30am…

Sainsbury’s sponsored the wrapping service for flowers and gifts and the queues kept growing! Men I have to say were the main contributors to this service which will be back by popular and grateful demand!! We will be back as they say!!

Both Liz the store’s HR Manager and her daughter Jess, who had volunteered her own time, were invaluable in helping secure extra customers for us.  Dave and Laura also Sainsbury’s staff took time to share the love and collected spare change from generous customers as they shopped.

Another amazing day of fundraising and community spirit was alive and kicking in Farnborough. Staff are keen to make this year an Olympic one for us and £275 was made in just a few hours thanks to many people coming together.

We will be back at Sainsbury’s at  Easter with a fantastic Chocolate and Gift Tombola.
