LMF – Get Creative in More Ways than one!

News

On Saturday 20th July LMF joined forces with Karen from Kay Tee Jewellery to encourage children to get creative during the school holidays. The venue was the lovely bright and busy Princes Mead Shopping Centre in Farnborough who had invited us to go along and entertain their shoppers.

Karen is a small business owner who wanted to showcase her jewellery classes and children’s parties whist supporting a local charity.  The workshops were FREE and LMF manned the workstations for Karen. We also got to talk too many of our rookie jewellers about the work we do in the local community.

The day was a huge success as many children and quite a few parents came along to make jewellery that they were able to wear or take home for FREE! Check out our gallery to see some of our happy customers

At LMF we think it is tough for everyone at the moment financially and if we can think of new ways to raise our profile while having fun in our community then we will do whatever we can to get out there and be noticed.

As a charity we took a few generous donations from our happy customers as well as having the great pleasure to meet a few prospective new volunteers and supporters.

At the end of the day we enjoyed our work experience with Karen so much we are going to join forces with her at other events in the future. Princes Mead have already very kindly asked us back to do another workshop, so watch this space.

If you would like to talk to Karen about children’s parties or adult jewellery making classes them please contact her directly but do mention where you heard it from!
