Donation – Helping Kennel Lane’s Garden To Grow
News
On Friday 13th July, LMF went along to Kennel Lane School, Bracknell to make a donation and presented them with a cheque for an astonishing £5000.
John, Cheryl and Fanni were invited to a school assembly to meet some of the pupils and to watch a presentation of their year’s achievements. One of their projects and for which the charity had raised money for, is a wilderness trail and outdoor learning space. The area will provide children with the facilities to learn about many elements of the outdoors, including local wildlife and how to grow produce and flowers. Another part of the trail is a Willow classroom which will be accessible to every pupil, as every need has been thought of.
Kennel Lane School is an inclusive school that believes true equality is about treating people differently. Their aspiration is to share expertise, facilities and opportunities to enhance the lives of children, young people and adults within Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire. If you would like to get involved or wish to fundraise for the school please get in touch.
To be able to make such a significant donation we host a variety of events, which have recently included a Bhaji and a Boogie Night at The Cinnamon Tree Guildford and Bagshot Diamond Jubillee Street Party, we also held an array of events at Sainsbury’s Watchmoor Park over the last year.
