To celebrate and launch the corporate sponsorship between New Diwan-Ee-Khas and the Lisa May Foundation we held a fundraising event, aptly titled Curry and the King.

The restaurant, located on the London Road, was packed to the rafters with Elvis fans and the foundation’s supporters. Delicious, home cooked Indian cuisine was served and live music was supplied by A J Entertainments and the 68 special Elvis tribute, as well as guest singing sensation Phill Hurrell. Guests were dancing in the aisles and everyone that attended said they could not wait for the next event.

The night raised a fantastic £1500!
