LMF were encouraging visitors at Sainsbury’s, Farnborough to get into the Easter Spirit by running a giant Chocolate Tombola, kindly sponsored by Dominos.

On Saturday 23rd March the snow might have been falling but shoppers still flooded in and did their bit for charity as our tombola was a sell-out success. We were also joined by our fabulous volunteer Tina Carney who did a fantastic job at face-painting and local Take-Away, Currylicious handed out Indian treats, so everyone left happy.

The day was a roaring success and through donations and ticket sales a fantastic £335 was raised.

The store chose the Lisa May Foundation as their charity in June 2012 and then the fundraising began. There has been an array of events such as an Olympic themed Opening Ceremony and a Halloween themed Spooktacular Saturday. The scale of these events have only been possible due to the support and dedication from all the staff members at Farnborough and for this the Foundation is truly grateful.
