Sakura Spa – An Evening of Treats

A cold and chilly evening turned into a bright welcoming and relaxed evening of treats when Sakura Spa kindly hosted a charity event at their new premises in Lynwood Village Sunningdale.

Lynwood offered up the space so LMF and Sarah Hills, owner of Sakura Spa, could transform it into a beautiful, calm and relaxing shopping event. Residents, staff and clients from Sakura were treated to drinks, nibbles and a complimentary goodie bag on arrival.

There was everything from a  sparkling drinks reception (kindly sponsored by Mr Mahesh Singadia, a loyal LMF supporter) to relaxing hand and neck massages courtesy of Sakura Spa. The Velvet Rooms hairdressers, also on site at Lynwood, kindly opened their doors and welcomed customers with colour demos and advice.

A magician was on hand to ensure the evening really was magical and the Deputy Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Cllr Sayonara Luxton was most pleased to accept an invitation to join the residents and guests to enjoy the festivities on offer.

There was a fabulous raffle with prizes from our hosts and stalls from Avon, Neals Yard and LMF  gave guests the chance to do some more Christmas shopping.

The evening was superbly hosted by Sakura Spa, The Velvet Rooms and the Lynwood Village staff were also most welcoming. Everyone was very generous with the raffle.

The superb night raised over £510 which would not have happened without the generous support of Sakura’s clients, friends and the lovely residents at Lynwood Village.

Trying new things and meeting new friends is a lovely way to raise funds.
