The Lisa May Foundation supports selected local charities in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, at the same time raising funds for victims of natural disaster across the world. The charity was founded after Surrey Heath Councillor John May lost his daughter Lisa to the tsunami that devastated Thailand on Boxing Day 2004. We were rather delighted to be invited to speak at the Women’s Institute, Camberley branch, on the hunt for volunteers.
A number of ladies have offered their services and we look forward to working with them at various events throughout the year.
