On Saturday May 16th as LMF were knee deep in supporting the Nepal Earthquake Appeal, it was a welcome relief to attend the STIHL GB inter company football match at Ash football ground.

Viking vs STIHL GB was fuelled with spirit and banter, as staff and families turned out to support their men and a fabulous barbecue and bar made for a great family day out.

The weather was perfect and staff offered to make cameo appearances on film to make sure we captured the atmosphere of the day.

The match ended with a victory for the Vikings 4-3.

Winners and runners up posed for their team photos after the match and a medal ceremony brought the afternoon to a great close.

Another superb day out with STIHL GB and Viking and the grand total raised of £300 gave LMF plenty to smile about.

Thanks to all the supporters who came out, the team who trained hard and gave a great account of themselves and all the staff behind the scenes who volunteered their services and helped make the perfect day out.
